The grapes of this Still Life Painting were grown by Jon and his wife Carolyn on their property in Franklin, North Carolina and a  local grocery store supplied the apple and pear.  All the other items were taken from Carolyn's collection of decorative pieces displayed in their country home.

Jon’s passion for painting in the style of the old masters made it fun and joyful to create this painting for his wife.  It has become her favorite still life painting which is displayed in a place of honor in their home.  This painting speaks to the viewer visually and captures the country feeling to be enjoyed for many years to come.
